Malayalam Lyrics
Oh Des Damman is an Aramaic (East Syriac) song sung by Mar Thoma Nasranis (St. Thomas Christians), as the Turgama for Epistle (Turgama before Lekhanam reading). (Suriyani version of the Song Sakaleshwaranam Daivam Bhoovinnudayon).

ഭൂസ്വര്‍ഗ്ഗങ്ങളുടെ രാജാവിന്റെ രക്ഷാകരമായ വിരുന്നിനു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അനന്തപരിപാലനയാല്‍ ക്ഷണിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരേ,
ദൈവവചനത്തിന്റെ വെളിച്ചത്തില്‍ നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നെ പരിശോധിച്ച് നിങ്ങളുടെ മനസ്സിലെ എല്ലാ ഭൗതികചിന്തകളും ദൈവാഗ്നിയില്‍ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുവിന്‍.
യാചിക്കുന്നവരുടെ മുമ്പാകെ സൗഭാഗ്യദായകമായ ഭണ്ഡാഗാരം തുറന്നുവച്ചുകൊണ്ട് കര്‍ത്താവ് അരുള്‍ ചെയ്‌തു. പാപികളേ, നിങ്ങള്‍ വരുവിന്‍; നിങ്ങളുടെ കടപ്പത്രം തിരിയെ വാങ്ങിക്കൊള്ളുവിന്‍,

നിഴലിനു തുല്യമായ നിയമങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്ന് യഥാര്‍ത്ഥമായ നിയമത്തിലേക്ക് എബ്രായനായ പൗലോസിനെപ്പോലെ നിങ്ങള്‍ തിരിയേണ്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
ഇസ്രായേല്‍ക്കാരില്‍ തീക്ഷ്‌ണമതിയായി താന്‍ കണ്ട ധീരനായ സാവൂളിനെ കര്‍ത്താവു ക്രിസ്‌തീയ സമൂഹത്തിനുവേണ്ടി തീക്ഷ്‌ണമതിയാകുവാന്‍ വിളിച്ചു.
ഒരിക്കല്‍ അവന്‍ യഹൂദ നിയമത്താലും പാരമ്പര്യത്താലും അന്ധനായിരുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍ പിന്നീട് മിശിഹായുടെ പ്രബോധനത്തിന്റെ ശക്തിയാല്‍ അവന്റെ നയനങ്ങള്‍ തുറക്കപ്പെട്ടു.
അവന്റെ മഹത്ത്വപൂര്‍ണ്ണമായ സത്യവചനങ്ങള്‍ ശ്രവിക്കുന്നത് യുക്തമാകുന്നു. അവനിപ്പോള്‍ (….) ലേഖനത്തിലൂടെ പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
ENGLISH TRANSLATION
O you who are summoned by the great power of God
to the salutary feast
of the royal banquet of the King of heaven and earth:
Examine all wordly thoughts in the light of the Gospel
and purify them in divine fire.
The Lord has opened a treasure of happiness before all those that seek it
and has said: “O you sinners,
come and be released of the bond of your debts!”
Cleanse your heart and become like little children
that you may be heirs and dwellers of the heavenly Kingdom!
Behold! The Word is preached to you in spiritual voices
and opens for you a way to eternal happiness,
It is necessary that, like Paul the Hebrew,
you turn from the shadow of the laws to the Law that is real.
He whom the Lord saw to be zealous about the Israelites,
was called to be zealous about the Christian people.
See! He was was once blinded by the traditions of the laws,
but afterwards his eyes were opened by the power of the teachings of Jesus.
He expelled from his mind all deceitful thoughts and
became an Apostle of God and proclaimed His power among the Greeks.
